SMSC (Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural development)
*There are many ways to promote and enhance SMSC development for all pupils at Hamilton College, including self-awareness, respect for all and open-mindedness. As a college, Hamilton promotes British values and SMSC across the wider curriculum, as well as through the Prevent Duty of the college.
*SMSC is part of all areas of the curriculum, ranging from teaching in RE and citizenship through to relationship and sex education and a wide range of extra-curricular and out-of-school activities. All the provision for SMSC helps our pupils develop into well-rounded adults and helps prepare them for life in Modern Britain.
